Gozsdu Guesthouse – Budapest Effective from: 10 July 2025 until withdrawal
1. General Provisions
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the legal relationship between the Gozsdu Guesthouse (registered address: Káldy Gyula Street 1, Budapest) and the Guest using its services.
1.2. By using the services of the guesthouse, the Guest accepts the provisions of the GTC.
2. Booking and Contract Formation
2.1. Bookings may be made via the online system, by email, phone, or in person.
2.2. The accommodation contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the booking by the Guesthouse.
2.3. The contract is for a fixed term, based on the check-in and check-out dates.
3. Accommodation Fees and Payment Terms
3.1. The current prices are available on the Guesthouse’s website and in the booking confirmation.
3.2. Payment can be made in advance by bank transfer, by online card payment, or on site by cash or bank card.
3.3. If required by the Guesthouse, a deposit is necessary for the booking to be valid.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1. Cancellations must be made via the same channel through which the booking was placed.
4.2. General cancellation rule: cancellation is free of charge up to 5 days before arrival; after that, the first night will be charged as a cancellation fee.
4.3. In case of no-show, the full accommodation fee may be charged.
5. Rights and Obligations of the Guest
5.1. The Guest is entitled to use the ordered services as intended.
5.2. The Guest must comply with the House Rules.
5.3. The Guest is liable for any damage caused by them or their visitors.
6. Rights and Obligations of the Guesthouse
6.1. The Guesthouse has the right to cancel the booking in case of force majeure, exceptional circumstances, or Guest misconduct.
6.2. The Guesthouse shall provide the accommodation and services as per the agreement.
7. Check-In and Accommodation
7.1. Rooms are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
7.2. A valid photo ID is required at check-in.
8. Data Processing
8.1. The Guesthouse handles all personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable laws.
8.2. A detailed privacy notice is available at the reception or electronically upon request.
9. Complaints and Legal Disputes
9.1. Guests may submit complaints orally or in writing.
9.2. The parties aim to resolve disputes amicably. If unsuccessful, the Budapest Conciliation Board or the competent court may be involved.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. These GTC remain in effect until withdrawal.
10.2. The Guesthouse reserves the right to unilaterally amend these GTC.
